[PODCAST] How Busy Parents Build Momentum Toward Their Business Goals

Maintain the MACHINE

A simple formula for busy parents to build momentum toward their income goals.

Building momentum for a new business is challenging. Throw a few kids into the mix and all the extra time that your peers seem to be using to compensate for the same lack of experience and skill you have sounds like a fairy tale fantasy.

Extra time? As a parent it’s hard to even comprehend what those words mean.

When you have a family the stakes are high. Their are mouths to feed and clothes to buy. The whole reason you made this pivot in your career was to be a better provider, to gain more time with your family, and to feel more fulfilled in how you went about funding your family’s future.

In the beginning however, the money stinks, you’re working all the time, and you feel guilty for being preoccupied with thoughts of work when you’re suppose to be spending time with the kids.

The dream you had – the reason you went into business for yourself – was based on the idea of riding a wave of momentum. The plan was – and still is – to create a business that works for you, instead of you working for it.

How does such a thing come to be?

That’s exactly what I explore in this interview with Chris Ameneiro of the Parent Hustle Podcast.

Enjoy!
